Terms of Service - IhsanPower

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to IhsanPower websites, APIs, and mobile applications (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

IhsanPower helps customers manage prepaid electricity meters in Nigeria, including meter validation, wallet funding, token purchase, usage insights, and related energy tools. IhsanPower is not a distribution company (DisCo). Tokens are fulfilled through licensed vending partners. Electricity supply, tariff changes, meter faults, and network outages remain the responsibility of the relevant DisCo or meter operator.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Nigerian law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including meter numbers and contact details.

4. Accounts

You must keep your password confidential and notify us promptly of unauthorised access. You may delete your account at any time from the IhsanPower app or website. Remaining wallet funds must be spent or transferred before deletion. Transaction records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. 5. Payments and tokens

Wallet funding is processed by third-party payment providers. Card and bank details are handled by those providers, not stored by IhsanPower as full payment-card data.
Prepaid tokens are generated by vending partners. Once a token has been issued, purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where a confirmed failed vend can be reversed.
You are responsible for entering the correct meter number. Tokens loaded to the wrong meter because of customer error may not be recoverable.
Service availability depends on partner, DisCo, and payment-gateway uptime. We do not guarantee that a token can be purchased at every moment.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for fraud, money laundering, or unauthorised access to meters or accounts you do not control.
Probe, disrupt, or overload our systems, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
Upload unlawful content, malware, or another person’s personal data without authority.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security or fraud risk.

7. Intellectual property

IhsanPower and its licensors own the Service, branding, and software. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal or internal business use.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. Analytics, predictions, energy scores, and similar insights are estimates only and are not a substitute for DisCo bills or professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, IhsanPower is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost tokens caused by partner or DisCo failure, or damages arising from events outside our reasonable control. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to IhsanPower in the three months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
